On December 6, the ITEC Students enrolled in ITEC 269 - Industrial Safety, completed the requirements for certification in First Aid, CPR & AED (Automated External Defibrillator) from the National Safety Council.  Their Professor, Ms. Sharon Haristy, who is a certified trainer for the National Safety Council, offered ITEC 269 for the first time this semester and it was a huge success.  Training includes comprehensive hands-on industry leading content.  Thirty four students completed the requirements and received a certificate and wallet card valid for two years.
