Areas of Specialization:

Zixian Zhu received her Ph.D. in the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management at the University of Florida. Her research focuses on human–robot interaction, virtual reality, occupational safety, and technological innovation in construction, approached through interdisciplinary methods. Her work has been published in leading journals and presented at major conferences. She also collaborates with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) through the National Science Foundation (NSF) INTERN program and has prior industry experience in Singapore.
